The General Directorate of Abu Dhabi Police intended to modernise its entire tele-communications and IT system and had selected Our Team in an international tender procedure to provide the required consultancy and engineering services. The system comprised a TETRA network with more than 100 base stations, various operations and command centres including automatic vehicle location facilities and special security features. Several thousands of vehicles / motor cycles / helicopters and handhelds had to be equipped with a global positioning satellite system. Most modern command software was to support day-by-day and emergency activities.
